Gina Hamadey is the author of My Friend’s Best Wedding (Dutton, June 2027), her fiction debut, which follows a woman who realizes she’s in love with her childhood best friend just as she’s helping him to plan his last-minute wedding to her high school bully. As feelings emerge, a decision is made: She’s going to stop this wedding.

Gina is also the author of I Want to Thank You (TarcherPerigee, 2021), in which she chronicled her year writing 365 thank you notes to friends, mentors, Brooklyn neighbors, and her husband and two sons (who appreciate a '90s romcom). She is the former travel editor of Food & Wine and Rachael Ray Every Day, and she began her career at O, the Oprah Magazine and George. She has written for The New York Times, Real Simple, and Elle.
